The Austin Air “it” has a large particle pre-filter that removes particles easily seen by the naked eye (e.g. dust, hair, and pet dander). This pre-filter can be upgraded to a dual-stage VOC Wrap that also adsorbs VOCs, chemicals, gases, and odors. Additionally, the Austin Air “it” uses a medical grade HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns and 99% of all particles larger than 0.1 microns, including viruses, bacteria, molds, spores, and pollen.

Warranty:

Yes! The Austin “it” is backed by a five-year pro-rated filter warranty. This is by far the most comprehensive in the industry. Austin Air HEPA filters are designed to last for an unprecedented 5-years, under normal residential use. The carbon VOC Wrap does not carry a warranty.
