This all cotton mattress pad features a diamond stitch quilting with a 100% cotton cambric cover and 100% cotton fill. Fully elasticized skirt with spandex corners ensures a customized fit. The Downright cotton mattress pad protects and extends the life of your mattress while providing unsurpassed comfort.

Top fabric: 200 thread count cambric cotton (underside as well). Top Construction: 6-inch diamond stitch with 100% cotton fill, approximately 1/8 inch thick.

Care: For best results, machine wash in cold water with low-sudsing soap, in a front-loading machine. Do not use bleach. Dry on low heat until the interior filling is completely dry. Remove promptly. If using a machine with an agitator, use soak and spin cycle only (do NOT agitate the pad).

All Downright fabrics have the Oeko-Tex 100-Confidence in Textiles label and are certified to be virtually free of all harmful chemicals.

Finally!! True 100% cotton! No poly fill/backing, and it fits my mattress well!
SO happy to have found this mattress pad! I could never find a mattress pad that was 100% cotton. They had a cotton top but the fill and backing was poly, and the backing was the worst - I'm not sure what it was made of but it shredded/deteriorated after just a few washes, and I dry on low.
The other problem was that even though I do not have a thick mattress, (it's 12"), the pads I had were really hard to put on and did not cover the full 12", and often one of the corners would pop off after a few days, GRRRR. I almost ordered the 20" version offered here to account for this but I'm glad I went with the 14". It fits my mattress perfectly! The spandex corners are a great addition so you're not fighting to get it on and the sides are fully covered.
The pad is thin, which is fine for me. I didn't buy it for cushioning, I bought it to protect the mattress from when I sweat at night. (menopause sucks!!!) I was going to throw my old pads away, but the tops are in good enough shape for my local dog rescue to repurpose so I'm giving them one last wash and donating.
Anyway, THANK YOU Natural Linens for carrying this pad!

Excellent mattress pad
Love everything about it - the smooth, soft fabric, the fact that it is indeed 100% cotton (even the fill!), the fit on our mattress, and just the right amount of padding. If you are trying to include more natural fibers and remove some of the synthetic factors in your bedding, this mattress pad is a perfect choice.
