Lyocell is made from wood pulp from eucalyptus trees. It has a soft finish and is very light. This makes it a natural fabric; coupled with our softest Hungarian white goose down, equals a beautiful pillow that is also made from 100% eco-friendly materials.

The Responsible Down Standard is an independent, voluntary global standard which assures the geese we get our down from are well protected. The RDS¨ was developed and revised with the input of animal welfare groups, industry experts, brands and retailers. The standard recognizes the best practices in animal welfare, and excludes those that violate the animals' well being.

All Downright fabrics have the Oeko-Tex 100-Confidence in Textiles label and are certified to be virtually free of all harmful chemicals.

Please follow the simple tips below for daily care and cleaning instructions. Down comforters and pillows will last many years if cared for properly.

Daily Care: Always use a duvet cover and pillow protector to protect against everyday soil. Fluff your down product daily to refresh down filling.

Washing instructions: Machine wash in a commercial size front-loading washing machine. Do not use a washing machine with an agitator. Wash in cold water with a mild, low-sudsing soap. Do not use bleach.

Dry on low heat. Use tennis balls in the dryer to dissipate clumps. Dry well beyond the point where the outer fabric feels dry; this often takes 3-4 hours. This will ensure that the down clusters are free from any moisture.

If possible, allow the comforter an additional 24 hours to air-dry before placing inside a duvet cover.
