Since wool is the most breathable of all bedding materials, your body will love sleeping on top of an organic wool mattress topper. If you have a synthetic mattress, creating a natural sleeping surface is the best thing you can do for your body. Holy Lamb Organics hand crafts their organic wool toppers using Premium Eco-Wool batting tufted between 2 layers of organic cotton fabric. Designed to lay flat on top of the mattress without shifting. The Holy Lamb Organics Quilted Wool Deep Sleep Mattress Topper is the perfect choice for adding just a little more softness to your mattress, but not the full loft of The Ultimate Wool Topper.

Care

Sunning your topper periodically will keep it refreshed and revitalize the wool.

  • Deep Sleep and Ultimate toppers are not machine washable. Spot clean as needed. Treat stains by soaking area with hydrogen peroxide (note, this may cause lightening of fabric).
  • Crib toppers can be machine soaked in cold water. Manually set to soak and spin cycles only. Do not use the wash cycle, which agitates and can ruin your topper. For stained items, add a dose of live cultured enzymes (such as Bac-Out by Biokleen) during soak. Drape in the sun or warm place to dry. Do not wring or machine dry.

For even wear and optimum comfort, we recommend alternately flipping (turning over) and rotating (head to foot) your topper periodically. Do this once a week for the first few months, then every few months as needed.

The scent of wool - Our wool, both natural and organic, is cleaned and processed naturally without the use of harsh chemicals. That's why you may notice the mild sweet scent of sunny farm pastures when you receive your new wool product. The wool retains 1% of the naturally occurring lanolin oil, which helps condition the fibers and keep them fluffy and soft for years to come. Most customers find the scent dissipates within a few days.
